Auckland’s Cornwall Park is an ideal visit at any time of year but the park is at its remarkable best with the arrival of Spring.

This is the time of year when park visitor numbers begin to increase with the warmer weather brings out the best of everything nature has to offer.

By late August the park’s renown daffodil display is in full bloom and the blossoms are also beginning to show.

The best of the cherry blossom is usually on full display by the end of September and, if you’re lucky, you might see a wedding party gathering for photos along the walkway under this magnificent display.

Cornwall Park also has a fully operational farm and, by this time, lambing is complete and several new born lambs and calves can be seen bouncing about enjoying themselves.

At this time the park also runs several organised events that coincide with the arrival of the new season.
